Adufe Building Workshop
From crafting to playing, from wood to skin, in this workshop we put our hands to work and our voices in tune in a cycle of building and using the adufe. CRUA and the Casa da Memória invite everyone who wishes to build and play the adufe to be part of this movement.
Spread across 4 workshops, the invitation is to build an adufe for each participant and to share repertoire and basic rhythms from the traditional Iberian songbook. This musical gathering culminates with participation in CRUA's concert at the 8th anniversary of Casa da Memória, on April 25th. Adufes up high, for here there is music in a collective!
