From territory to territory, from mill to mill, there are spaces that facilitated encounters throughout our information gathering in the community. One of these essential spaces was the deactivated Primary School of Gominhães, where the Poets Group of Selho gathered to allow themselves to become flour in the mill of history and thus accept the invitation of this research and tribute to mills and traditional bread. Thus, we went through fields of life and memories of tools and habits, where many of these poets were farmers, millers, and agitators. Composed of the poetic element we call "restlessness," they listened to the stories and added value and symbolism to each verse, proving the flour of this encounter, inspiring new poems to be born. Words that fermented and showed each journey and life path, valuing individuality but also acknowledging that freedom, in this collective, is the vital seasoning. It will, therefore, be a synthesis of the meetings that took place in 2023.

Writing is also a gesture of connection to the spaces we inhabit (or need to explore) in our context. By collecting and sharing technical information and biographical memories, we achieve the necessary alignment for a state of elevation where poetry takes shape. In this collective body, the Poets Group of Selho with Liliana Duarte will inhabit a mill and fill it with their presence in the form of words, reciting in the mill of Quinta da Tojeira (Sobreposta), restored and illustrated by the great Fernando Mendes, a member of the Association of Mills of Rio Torto and Febras. The invitation is for everyone to climb the mountain, as all are welcome to an afternoon of sharing, beauty, and poetry.

And is it possible that, for a few hours, while we recite a poem, a bread can be born? Or while we write a verse, a seed can grow?
