The new community project of the Casa da Memória, 'Whirlpool' is based on the idea of bringing people together around issues of intangible and material heritage of mills and cereal milling processes. Liliana Duarte, following on from her work for the Casa da Memória, which resulted in the book 'Paladário', now deepens her research into the cultivation and harvesting of wheat, rye and other ancient cereals used to make Minho-style bread.
